CortexDJ runs locally on your computer. It analyses your music files (tempo, key, energy, structure) and stores results in a local cache and your app-data folder. Settings — including broadcast/stream keys (encrypted) and your license key — are stored locally on your machine. If you have Mixed In Key installed, CortexDJ can read its local database to import key/energy results. This data never leaves your computer.
No analytics or telemetry are collected by the app by default. Your music, mixes, library and analysis are not uploaded anywhere by the app.
If you sign up on cortexdj.com, we store your email to send you the download link and launch updates; you can unsubscribe anytime. The website may use privacy-friendly analytics. Live-streaming and update checks contact only the services you choose; those have their own privacy policies.
Stream keys are stored encrypted (Windows DPAPI). Treat your machine and config file as sensitive.
